APEX Educational Solutions Employee Pay Code Guide

Compliance Notice: This guide is provided in accordance with Connecticut Public Act 26-12 to explain the pay codes that may appear on your earnings statements.

Part 1: Standard & Overtime Earnings Codes

1. REG – Regular Hours Worked

  • Definition: Standard hourly rate paid for all non-overtime hours worked up to 40 hours within a designated workweek.
     

2. OT1 – Overtime (Tier 1 – 1.5x)

  • Definition: Statutory overtime compensation calculated at 1.5 times the employee’s regular rate of pay.

  • Application: Applied automatically to all hours physically worked in excess of 40 hours during a single, defined workweek, in compliance with Connecticut state overtime laws.
