Sarah Kondziela, M.S. Ed., BCBA, LBA
Consultant
Sarah is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of Connecticut. She has extensive experience working with young children in early intervention, primarily insurance-based services. She also has experience working with elementary and middle-school students in the special education setting, as well as caregiver coaching.
Sarah graduated from the University of Saint Joseph in 2021 with a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She received her undergraduate degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Iona College in New York, having a passion for working with children from an early age. Sarah obtained her behavior analyst board certification in May of 2023, and has been working as a BCBA throughout southern Connecticut since July of 2023.
Sarah has a special interest in staff training, including using Behavioral Skills Training in the moment to better enhance her supervisees’ skills. She enjoys disseminating ABA to anyone who will listen, and has conducted study groups for student analysts studying for their Board exam. Clinically, Sarah loves using incidental teaching and creating natural opportunities for her learners to gain skills. She uses assent-based protocols in her practice, and enjoys modeling for staff how to teach choice-making and self advocacy skills to young children, while bringing to joy to her learners.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys watching baseball (Let’s go Mets), lifting weights, listening to music, going for walks, and traveling with her friends, family, and fiancé.
